We have two male prarie dogs for sale, both 5 months old, they make really great pets. Very social and interactive animals, very smart and trainable similar to a dog. They cuddle with you and love to be held and pet, they love eachother and wrestle and play and cuddle with eachother all the time.
We are including the VERY nice cage we bought for them, we got it for $350, strong metal slats, it's 3 feet wide on both sides and a little taller, also has a stand with a shelf beneath it perfect for keeping their supplies. The tray on the bottom benenath lowest grate slides out for easy cleaning. I have secured some chicken wire around the lower part of the cage to help keep hay from spilling out. (easily removable if you don't like it)
Including the partial bag of hay we have left (they burrow and nest in this along with eating it), Including all the toys and chew things we bought for them and the dishes and water bottle and water bottle hanger, and even a litter box that they use- no kidding. Including some food as well. The cage and everything with is are only 1 month old, practicaly brand new and in perfect condition (except for a chip in the liter box)
We can tell you everything you need to know about them and caring for them, they're pretty low maintanance and very lovable. We just don't have the time to play with them and love on them like they deserve. They are incredibly social creatures and clearly crave attention.
We paid $150 for each of them, $350 for the cage, well over $300 for all the accessories and goodies, for a total of about $950, asking $500 for everything.
