6-Month-Old Female Spider Monkey $10,500
We are looking for the right person/family with friendly pets but no small children.
Having the knowledge, time, and extra love to provide for this precious girl is a must.
She’s super sweet and sleeps with our dogs or with us. She does have the tendency to bite being she is a wild animal.
Her cage must have at least 86” L x 63” W x 81” H and she will need larger cages as she gets bigger. She is never to be left in her cage for a long time. Our home is baby-proofed, so she has the run of the house.
An enriching environment, toys, a jungle gym, swings, ropes, and socialization will help with mental health and behavior.
She is never to be left alone or without supervision. Someone will have to be home and watch her pretty much the whole day. She should be in her cage no more than a few hours a day besides at nighttime.
She wears washable diapers. And gives no issue with me putting them on. Although, when placed with a new family she will give a bit of an issue and may bite until you earn her trust. Bites do hurt.
She eats predominately fruit, although her favorite treat is Lemon Meringue Pie and Lucky Charms marshmallows.
Please understand that this responsibility is not like having a dog or a cat. She is a wild animal with great intelligence and requires as much attention and interaction.
Will only consider families in states that primates are legal to own.
Please understand that this is a lifelong commitment. It’s like having a toddler for the rest of your life. Keep in mind that she will outlive you.
